I mean... the service was okay overall, but the refund process just took too long. I was expecting it to be sorted out sooner, waiting around without much update was frustrating.

I reached out to support and it took forever to get any real help. Meanwhile, the emails just kept coming nonstop, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. after dealing with that, I don’t really feel like I can trust them the same way anymore.

I do like the service overall and it seems to work fine once you're in, but getting into my account and trying to update basic details was way more frustrating than it needed to be. Support did eventually help, but the response was slow, which made the whole thing feel more annoying. Hopefully they smooth that process out, because otherwise it seems like something I’d be happy to keep using.

I’m getting frustrated at this point. The issue still hasn’t been sorted, and every time I think we’re close to getting it fixed, the goalposts seem to move again. It feels like I’m being given a different answer or another step to follow each time, but no actual resolution.

I’ve enjoyed the sound of a lot of Plugin Alliance stuff. Some of their plugins are really solid and fit into my mixes nicely. But the stability? Yeah, that’s where things get a little frustrating. A few run totally fine, then suddenly one will crash my DAW or make a project crawl for no obvious reason. It’s not a total dealbreaker or anything. IT JUST GETS REALLY ANNOYING when you’re in the middle of working and everything slows down. Hopefully future updates smooth things out.

"Good plugins, but the upgrade pricing feels unnecessary"
I like a lot of the Plugin Alliance stuff, and some of their bundles are actually a good deal when they go on sale. The site works fine, and downloading everything is easy enough. My main gripe is the upgrade pricing. It can be confusing, and sometimes it feels like buying a bigger bundle is almost cheaper than upgrading the things I already own, which is kind of annoying and unnecessary. It’s not a terrible experience overall, but it does make it feel like loyal customers don’t always get the best deal.

I tried the demo and didn’t get very far before it started getting on my nerves. The login process felt awkward, the plugin manager wasn’t very smooth, and the downloads took longer than I expected. The trial limits also weren’t super clear, which made the whole thing feel more annoying than useful. I ended up spending more time dealing with little issues than actually trying out the sounds, so it just wasn’t for me

"Plugin installs shouldn’t be this frustrating"
I’ve had a really rough time with the slow downloads constantly failing when I’m trying to install plugins. It’s annoying, especially when you just want to get work done. If a product offers plugins, I feel like it’s only fair that the download and install process should be reliable enough for users to actually use them without wasting time...

"Good Plugins, But the Website Can Be Frustratingly Slow"
I’ve been using the plugins they work fine for the most part. The frustrating part for me has been dealing with the website. More than once, I’ve tried logging in while in the middle of working on something, and the page just hangs. Downloads and updates also seem to take way longer than they should, and sometimes the support pages load oddly or feel sluggish. It’s not so bad that I can’t use it, but when I’m trying to get things done, the slowdown definitely gets annoying.

Bought a plugin and getting the license activated was a hassle. It took way longer than it should’ve, kept making me log in again, and I couldn’t really tell what the issue was. Just not a smooth start.

I’ve been using it for a bit and the biggest issue is that the CPU randomly spikes and it starts eating up memory like crazy, so everything slows down and I end up having to watch it more than I should, which is frustrating when I’m just trying to get my work done

The partners behind it look solid, which is a good sign, but the brand itself still gives me a bit of a sketchy vibe. Maybe it’s just the way it’s presented, but I feel like if a company wants people to trust it, the overall image should feel more polished and transparent. I’d probably do a little more digging before jumping in...

"Good plugins, but the update stuff gets confusing"
I’ve used a bunch of Plugin Alliance plugins and most of them sound really good. The installs have usually been fine for me too, so it’s not like I’ve had constant problems or anything. But the macOS compatibility info can be kind of hard to figure out, at least for me. After one macOS update, a couple of the plugins started acting weird and I ended up checking forums and waiting around before I felt comfortable using them again. Not a terrible experience, and maybe I should’ve waited before updating my OS, but also I feel like the support/update info could be easier to follow. If you’re on an older system it’s probably all good, which is funny because newer stuff is supposed to make things easier.

I tried to get my plugins installed and the manager just got in the way. It kept asking for logins, doing scans, throwing random errors, and then not really telling me what to do next. I ended up spending more time messing with the installer than actually using the stuff I paid for, which is just... I don’t know, it shouldn’t be this complicated.

"Preset quality was REALLY disappointing"
I mainly bought this for the presets, they just didn’t do much for me. A lot of them sounded flat or like they were thrown together too quickly, and most weren’t that useful once I actually tried them in a real mix. I ended up having to tweak WAY too much just to get something usable. The plugins themselves might be fine, but the presets definitely didn’t make things easier for me.

I tried using my voucher code a few times, but it kept getting rejected. At first I thought maybe I typed it wrong or missed some tiny detail in the terms, so I kept checking and trying again, but no luck. Not sure if it was an issue with the code or the checkout system, but it was frustrating
